Review:
When you are doing an anime that revolves around a harem, you expect to see something along the lines of the main protagonist to at least end up with each of the girls at least once throughout the whole anime. Well this anime takes a different spin on it, and decides to do something completely different then what a normal harem does. That doesn't mean it is a good thing though as most people might be disappointed with the end girl or they might be disappointed that the girl they wanted didn't get picked. Kind of funny how harems almost remind me of those reality TV shows with the girl or guy eliminating contestants each week. Anyways the only thing I could think of that was remotely good was one scene where it looked like it had significant impact on what was going on, but that just ended up irrelevant since they only decided to make this show revolve around one "good end girl". There's nothing about this show that will strike anybody’s fancy really, and there is really no big plot to discuss. This show is another example of how something could have been good if done right, but it just flopped.

What doesn't make sense to me is why the hell you are going to do a harem, and only have 1 girl to have a good ending. It is not supposed to be that way with a harem situation. I would have much rather preferred a School Days plot then this joke of an anime. Although School Days in my opinion is a little better, it still wasn't that great. The animation was everything short of what it was supposed to be. The way the chin on the face was drawn annoyed me to the point that I kept on restraining my fingers from hitting the stop button. The plot yet again did not make any sense at all, and the places that Kazuma went to with the girls were very generic ranging from going to the beach yet again and going to a carnival yet again. The girl he chooses at the end, didn't help this shows case at all. Why would he choose the girl that he barely had enough time to make a connection with out of the blue? It just seemed way too rushed to me and how he just tells the girls, which also had more than enough time to make a connection with him, just so he could turn them all down in the end. Maybe if they thought it through a little they would have realized what they were doing is stupid and that they should focus more on the girl he was going to end up with.

If the people who were making this were smart, they would have gone with a better format to showcase all the girls that would have at least had a chance with Kazuma. Sadly there is none of that in this anime and there will never be any more of what they just showed other than an OVA that’s coming out later and that’s only to please the people who actually enjoyed this anime. I actually feel sorry for people who had to endure this show till the end because they still didn't know how the format of this show worked. At least this show can at least be proud of one thing that it did well with and that’s on how not to make a harem anime.
