Review:
Want a war without anybody dying? Well look no further because this anime represents exactly what war is like where everybody lives, and nobody dies. While you can say that would make this show too light hearted and doesn't take itself seriously enough. What it does though is manage to be somewhat dark for a little bit, and the show does have a bigger meaning then having friendly wars with each other. Animation and voice acting is mostly on par with any other regular series that comes out each season and the animation got a lot better towards the end of the series. While most of the characters are likable due to the light hearted ways of the show none of them seem to be memorable and will be forgotten probably by the time newer series start to air. While this show doesn't give itself any favors to make this a better show, it also doesn't do anything huge to make this show any worse then what it is.

Here is what I am going to do. To show you how generic this show really is I am going to do a Q&A on what this show represents. Any anime out there that has full scale war and while nobody dies? While I can't think of any anime that had nobody dying in it while war is going on, but what I can do is name anime and manga that has war and pulls it off a lot better. Code Geass, Vinland saga, Full Metal Panic and Sengoku Basara are just a few out of a whole bunch of anime with a war theme in it. Is there any anime that is centered on mostly furry people? Wolf's Rain, Spice and Wolf and Princess Mononoke would be the closest I can think of when it comes to animals and war. Anything else that is noticeably different in this anime then others? Not really the other genre it has in it has been seen a million times over and many more anime that has the same genres will be coming out in the foreseeable future. While this show may be generic in a lot of ways it still is not that bad of a watch for anybody that is hardcore into furry’s and if you’re involved with PETA.

While most people will write this show off as something that only pre-teens would watch since it has that sort of atmosphere around it with the friendly wars and what not. What I don't understand is that this show has some fan service in it which tells me that they are at least trying to attract an older audience. Then why would they have no deaths or anything attached to it at all then? I can't tell you that answer since I am not the maker of this anime. What I can say is that if they do decide to make a second season is that they should at least involve death in it if they want to have more viewership or buyers. The ending is while cheesy and predictable does leave it open for another season, that is if people are going to be buying the merchandise that comes with this show like dvds and bds and what not. Honestly if you have put this show on hold for whatever reason or have yet to decide to watch this, then you’re better off just watching the many American animated films that feature animals in it.
